My name is Ms Jeane, the principal of Petra 7 Christian Elementary School. I am so happy to share good news for you about this school which is located at Kalianyar no 33-41.

Related with this year theme” Synergy in Action; Empowering Growth; Embracing tomorrow”, we need to collaborate to bring great impact for our children, sharpen their talents , and prepare them to face challenging in the future world developments.

Petra 7 Christian Elementary School carries out holistic education in learning process to achieve Student Learning Outcome through P-E-T-R-A: Physical Growth, Emotional Intelligence, Talent Development, Relationship with God, and Academic Excellence.

Entrepreneurship is our excellent point to encourage students to develop soft skills such as communication, teamwork and time management. They can also learn about financial such as earning, saving and investing which can benefit in children’s future careers. It is held in extra and intra curricular activities.

We commit to provide students with fun learning activities and equip 4C skills: Communication, Collaboration, Creativity, Critical thinking in order to face the challenges. We implement RAISE culture (Respect, Advance, Internalize, Share and Empower) to increase the value in deed.

Sejarah SD Kristen Petra 7

  • 2010

    Pada bulan Maret 2010, gedung SD Kristen Petra 7 selesai direnovasi dan tampil dengan wajah yang baru. Sehingga untuk tahun ajaran 2010/2011, seluruh kegiatan belajar mengajar dilaksanakan di gedung baru ini, dengan fasilitas dan sarana yang lebih memadai. Gedung ini terdiri atas lima lantai dengan 24 ruangan kelas yang luas, nyaman, dan dilengkapi dengan AC.

  • 2008

    Gedung SD Kristen Petra 7 terletak di Jalan Kalianyar No. 33 – 41 Surabaya. Pada tahun 2004 mengalami renovasi, sehingga untuk sementara SD Kristen Petra 7 menempati sebagian lahan SMA Kristen Petra 3 hingga tahun 2008, dan dilanjutkan meminjam sebagian gedung SMP Kristen Petra 2 di Jalan Embong Wungu No. 2 Surabaya karena lahan SMA Kristen Petra 3 yang sebelumnya ditempati SD Kristen Petra 7 juga turut direnovasi menjadi gedung SD Kristen Petra 7.

  • 1979

    SD Kristen Petra 7 didirikan pada tanggal 16 Juli 1979, dengan Ibu E.S. Handijanto yang menjabat sebagai kepala sekolah. Beliau bertugas dari tanggal 1 Juli 1979 sampai tanggal 1 November 2001. Selanjutnya, mulai tanggal 1 November 2001, digantikan oleh Ibu Desyanawanti Limantoro, S.Pd. hingga tahun 2013 dan dilanjutkan oleh Ibu Ratna Indrawati Gontoro, S. Pd., M. M.
